Serving Horses in North Northumberland, the Borders, and East Lothian

If paddocks become bare, or patchy it is advisable to oversow where necessary.
This involves a harrowing followed by seed broadcasting, and further harrow and roll, to cover seed.
As well as helping to thicken sward, you are introducing younger, fresher plants into your sward.
This oversowing can also be used in badly poached areas of ground after prolonged wet periods, and winters.
