Following harrowing, rolling can make good the surface of pastures as well as consolidating roots that encourage growth in your pastures. The process of harrowing and rolling is also useful after wet winters where gateways may be poached. Rolling will make a level surface over your ground making it easier for you and your horses to walk over.
