Serving Horses in North Northumberland, the Borders, and East Lothian

Regular paddock cleaning can reduce worm burdens, and aid weed control, resulting in even grazing of paddocks. EQUISERVE uses vacuum machines that directly lift muck from pastures by suction, this eliminates the chance of faecal spread on clean grazing. Regular cleaning is highly recommended as part of a comprehensive worm control programme. At present cleanings can be removed directly to your muck heap.
Recent BVA's (British Medical Association) guidance on the use of anthelmintics in grazing animals, suggests more concentrated efforts on regular paddock cleaning, to control worms. Recent studies are suggesting resistance to wormers, through over reliance. It is now advised to limit wormers, and clean paddocks regularly to achieve worm control.
Take the strain and wasted time out of lifting droppings by organising regular monthly, fortnightly or weekly cleans EQUISERVE will cater for any frequency of visits, and once your horses are used to the machinery, you don't even have to be there. We will arrive and clean as booked, leaving you to extra free time and less backache.
All our rates are based on hourly costs, so you can regularly budget for EQUISERVE on a frequency decided by you. There are no hidden costs, with a single price/hour and a travel charge, which ranges geographically.
