Serving Horses in North Northumberland, the Borders, and East Lothian

Although not always necessary, this is a means of maximising the grass in your paddocks.
The nutrient requirements of grassland varies widely and is part of a delicate balance, involving soil ph, drainage and light.
There are some broad spectrum compounds suitable for common application, to achieve good results, as well. As a general rule, a low nitrogen compound is advisable for horse paddocks. Applications can be either Spring, Autumn or both.
Horses that are susceptible to Laminitis should be monitored closely, and fertiliser, as a general rule, should not be applied in such circumstance unless necessary.
